CENTENNIAL, Colo.—The Colorado Farm Bureau Foundation has activated a fund to help farmers and ranchers who lost fencing, grass, hay, animals or homes to a wildfire that swept through Yuma County last week.

The fire burned across about 37 square miles after it broke out Sunday, destroying two homes and injuring three firefighters. Sheriff Chad Day has said an undetermined number of animals were killed.

The Colorado Farm Bureau Foundation is collecting donations to be distributed to affected farmers and ranchers. A benefit show also is planned March 24 in Yuma.
