Puppy found near Gypsum airport was victim of animal cruelty, say Eagle County authorities

 Eagle County authorities are looking for whoever brutalized a puppy found dead Monday in the Spring Creek area south of the Eagle County Regional Airport in Gypsum.

The puppy, which appeared to be between 3 months and 6 area months old, was found on Forest Service Road 8380.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000.
