A resolution that would have shuttered all the medical marijuana dispensaries in Lyons was defeated Tuesday night, the Longmont Times-Call reports.
If passed, the resolution would have ban all marijuana-related businesses from within town limits. Lyons currently has three dispensaries: Bud Depot, Headquarters Emporium, and Lyons Finest Confidential Care.
But after a careful counting of the mail ballots, the proposal was defeated 425 to 369.
