DENVER—Authorities say a woman removed all of her clothing in a concourse at Denver International Airport and was taken to a hospital for evaluation.
Airport spokeswoman Jenny Schiavone (shuh-VOH-nee) says the woman undressed near a boarding gate Tuesday morning.
Schiavone tells KMGH-TV () the woman had been smoking in a non-smoking area and someone told she couldn’t smoke there. She put out her cigarette and then undressed.
Police spokesman Sonny Jackson says there was no evident connection between the smoking incident and her undressing. Jackson says she apparently suffered some sort of breakdown.
Police say she wasn’t arrested. Her name hasn’t been released.
