Colorado Springs police on Saturday reported the discovery of skeletal remains on city property near the 1400 block of Manitou Boulevard.
The city’s utilities department was coordinating a trash clean-up Saturday morning when volunteers discovered what appeared to be a human skeleton.
The police department’s Major Case Unit was conducting a death investigation at the site Saturday.
