COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Authorities are investigating after a group of volunteers who were cleaning up trash in Colorado Springs found what appear to be human skeletal remains.
Police say the city’s utilities department was coordinating a trash cleanup Saturday morning when the remains were found in the northwestern part of the city. No other details were released, and an investigation is under way.
