DENVER—It may be a little too late for some ski resorts, but it’s snowing in western Colorado.
The National Weather Service said Thursday morning that an estimated 3 to 5 inches of snow had fallen over the northern Colorado mountains over the last 24 hours, with up to 8 inches falling in some mountain areas.
Fat flakes of snow were falling in Breckenridge on Thursday evening.
The Colorado Department of Transportation was reporting snow and wet roads from Vail to the Eisenhower Tunnel on Interstate 70 Thursday evening.
