Heading to the locker room after pregame warm-ups Saturday night, David Beckham jogged up to two unsuspecting 12-year-old Rapids “ball kids” and gave them thrills they won’t soon forget, high-fiving them both.
Kaitlyn Krieg and Olivia Allen giggled, squealed and vibrated with delight long after he disappeared into the Los Angeles Galaxy locker room.
“Oh, my God, it was amazing!” Kaitlyn said. “I love David Beckham so much. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Oh my God, that was amazing! I can’t believe I just high-fived him!”
It’s not like they begged for his touch. He came up and surprised them.
“I’m never going to wash my hand,” Olivia said.
