DENVER—The Denver City Council has given preliminary approval to a homeless camping ban following protests from businesses and supporters who believe it’s hurting Denver’s image.
According to the Denver Post ( ), the measure passed early Tuesday would make unauthorized camping illegal in the city. It’s aimed at reducing the numbers of homeless people sleeping on the streets.
The final vote will be May 14.
