Rock out with Nick Jr.’s Fresh Beat Band at Paramount Theatre
Saturday. Rock out, preschool-style, when the Fresh Beat Band visits the Paramount Theatre. The Nick Jr. stars play wholesome pop songs aimed at teaching youngsters the basics of music appreciation and movement. Now on their first national tour, the Fresh Beats perform tunes from the first three seasons of their TV show. Expect to hear upbeat numbers like “A Friend Like You,” “Here We Go” and “Just Like A Rock Star.” Dancing and singing along is, of course, encouraged. 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday.
