THORNTON, Colo.—Thornton police said Thursday investigators have concluded that a man shot and killed his 4-year-old son before killing himself.
Police said they were notified of the shootings around midnight Tuesday. The child died that day and the father died Wednesday. Both were shot in the head.
The Adams County coroner’s office identified the victims as 30-year-old Kevin Bristol and 4-year-old Michael Bristol.
