DENVER—Denver police have arrested a teen after a man was shot in the leg at a downtown light rail station near the 16th Street Mall.
Denver police Detective John White tells KMGH-TV () the victim is expected to survive.
The shooting happened about 2 p.m. Thursday at the light rail station on California Street just off the 16th Street pedestrian mall.
White says there was an altercation between a teenage male and the victim just before the shooting.
Officers chased the suspect and caught him a few blocks away.
