PARKER, Colo.—A top player in Colorado’s water wars has retired following questions over spending by his department.
Frank Jaeger has managed the Parker Water and Sanitation District since 1981.
According to KUSA-TV ( ), Jaeger and other managers used government credit cards to pay for vehicle upgrades and expensive trips for conferences in places like Las Vegas and Florida.
The expenses were questioned after the district began raising water rates for Parker residents.
