Getting your player ready...
PARKER — Police are investigating youth-baseball coach Kyle Dodd after he was caught by 9News having his young players sell raffle tickets for some prizes he did not own or have access to.
Parker police launched the investigation Thursday morning, a day after the story was broadcast.
Dodd and some of his players sold raffle tickets outside the King Soopers store at Jordan Road and Lincoln Avenue on April 14. There were pictures of numerous prizes.
Some of the prizes were for sale at League of Dreams, a local sports-memorabilia store, where manager Matthew Shepard said he hadn’t given anyone permission to raffle off the items.
