DENVER—An embalmer accused of taking gold teeth and fillings from bodies and cremated remains in the Denver area has pleaded guilty to violating pawnbroker laws.

The Longmont Times-Call reports ( ) Adrian Kline of Brighton pleaded guilty Thursday to a felony count of giving false information to a pawnbroker and a misdemeanor count of providing false information to a secondhand proprietor.

He was sentenced to a two-year deferred sentence in the felony case, which means the conviction will be dropped from his record if he stays out of trouble. He was sentenced to two years of unsupervised probation on the misdemeanor, plus 60 hours of community service.

Pawnbrokers in Longmont alerted police to Kline after they noticed he was repeatedly pawning gold teeth.
