“Untamed Americas,” the latest eye-dazzling nature series from National Geographic, features an episode devoted to “Mountains” in which Colorado and the region figure heavily. The series premieres Sunday at 7 p.m. on the National Geographic Channel.
The two-night miniseries brings the best of NatGeo wildlife photography to the small screen in crazy-good high-def. There’s squid-on-squid action in the “Coasts” episode (Monday). Closer to home, expect views of a grizzly taking down elk calves in Yellowstone and bighorn sheep in the Rockies.
