CONIFER, Colo.—Victims of a wildfire that destroyed 23 homes southwest of Denver in March are now coping with erosion.

Kristen Moeller says she found the side of a hill on her property falling away on Thursday following heavy rains. She is now living in a trailer after the fire destroyed her home.

Jefferson County tells KMGH-TV () it does not have the money to pay for erosion prevention.

Moeller says her insurance does not cover land erosion.
