RAPID CITY, S.D.—The Pennington County Sheriff’s office says it has recovered a body from the lake where a teenager went missing last month.
The Sheriff’s Office says the body was recovered at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Deerfield Lake. Officials are working on confirming the identity of the body.
Crews from several different states have been searching for the body of 15-year-old Justin Lewis of Hill City since he disappeared May 28 while kayaking. His boat and life jacket were found early in the search.
