A 52-year-old man has been arrested after he allegedly burst into a neighbor’s apartment wearing boxer shorts and assaulted several people, including a 6-month-old baby.
When a police officer arrested him, a 65-year-old woman assaulted the officer, authorities say.
Robert “Bob” Walter has been charged with burglary, two counts of third-degree assault , assault of an at-risk victim, and child abuse.
Alice Bozeman has been charged with assault on a peace officer and obstructing a peace officer.
On Thursday, Denver police responded to a neighborhood dispute call in the 1500 block of Hooker Street, according to a news release by Lynn Kimbrough, spokeswoman for Denver District Attorney Mitch Morrissey.
Walter allegedly burst into a neighbor’s apartment wearing only boxer shorts and carrying an alcoholic beverage, and assaulted several residents, including a six-month-old baby.
Bozeman allegedly assaulted a policeman when the officer tried to arrest Walter, Kimbrough said.
Walter and Bozeman both remain in custody.
Walter’s bond is set at $50,000; Bozeman’s bond is set at $5,000.
