Fire crews and two dive teams have recovered the body of a 21-year-old man who drowned in Windsor on Sunday afternoon.
A caller reported the man drowning just before 2 p.m. Sunday at a lake in Water Valley.
Windsor Severance Fire Rescue crews and the dive teams that were called in to assist from Loveland, pulled the young man from the lake at about 5:46 p.m. after some difficulty finding him.
Fire Chief Herb Brady, said the young man was visiting from New York, and spending the day in the lake swimming and kayaking.
Another person who was with the young man tried to give him a paddle to hang on to, but the man was unable to hold on.
His identification is not being released at this time.
