South Suburban Park and Recreation District is waiving weekend green fees throughout the summer for ages 17 and under after 5 p.m. at the Littleton Golf Course, Family Sports Golf Course and Lone Tree Golf Club and after 6 p.m. at South Suburban Golf Course. Terminal Velocity

Saturday: AIGA Colorado, Colorado’s professional association for design, created this inaugural event to celebrate Denver’s diverse downtown through its typography. Using advertisements, store signs, murals and landmarks, participating teams of 2-4 (must be 21 and older) bicycle around town in a race to be the first to locate and photograph all 26 letters of the alphabet. Offering a free three-month recreation pass for post-9/11 Lafayette veterans who have been discharged from active duty under honorable conditions. This pass includes all drop-in group-fitness classes, the indoor aquatics complex, a fitness atrium, gymnasiums, racquetball courts, an indoor track, locker rooms, family changing rooms and more. To receive a free recreation pass, applicants must present their DD-214 Form with separation date and a photo ID.

Boulder’s Walk and Bike Month

Through June: More than 70 bicycle and pedestrian activities including bike tours, running races, scavenger hunts, picnics, hikes and more are offered to celebrate the 36th annual Walk and Bike Month. “Bike to Work Day” is June 27, and approximately 40 breakfast stations will serve free breakfast to walkers and bikers 7-9 a.m.

July 4: The 31st annual benefit for Mount Evans Home Health & Hospice in Evergreen.
