GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo.—The Glenwood Springs City Council is considering a proposal to allow residents to keep backyard chickens in residential areas, but roosters need not apply.
The proposal being reviewed Thursday would allow households to keep up to six hens within city limits.
According to the Glenwood Springs Post Independent (), the ordinance would ban roosters and set requirements for chicken coops.
