Theater: Take a hike, catch some theater
Sunday. It’s a unique combination: Theatre Hikes Colorado mixes Shakespeare and outdoor adventure in its production of “As You Like It” at the Colorado Chautauqua. In it, the audience hikes the Chautauqua trails, encountering scenes from the Bard’s play along the way. The show tells the story of Rosalind, an exiled noble who wanders the Forest of Arden in disguise and finds excitement and love. Wear clothing for a moderate-level hike.The show is best for kids age 10 and older. Additional dates: June 30 and July 1, 7, 8, 14 and 15. All shows start at 11 a.m. at the Chautauqua Picnic Shelter.
