WINDSOR —University of Wyoming golfer Eric Parish, representing CommonGround Golf Course, shot a 6-under-par 65 and won the Colorado Golf Association’s Public Links Championship at Highland Meadows.

Parish started the final round Sunday three strokes behind second-round leader Brandon Bingaman of Black Canyon GC, who shot a 74. The CGA said Parish’s 13-under 200 total is believed to be the second-lowest in the tournament’s history, behind Derek Tolan’s 199 at Fox Hollow in 2008. Steven Kupcho of CommonGround and David Schroeder II of The Broadmoor GC tied for second, two strokes back. Gregg Burkhart, The Denver Post
