Waterton Canyon will reopen Saturday, after being closed Friday for the mop-up work of a 3-acre fire on Thursday afternoon.
The Mill Gulch fire was started by lightning and burned on U.S. Forest Service property near Strontia Springs Reservoir, which Denver Water operates.
The fire is contained and fire crews were expected to finish their work Friday night.
