A pedestrian was cited for illegally being in the roadway after being involved in a Wednesday afternoon collision near the 4900 block of North Federal Boulevard.
According to Raquel Lopez of the Denver Police Department, the pedestrian was crossing west to east when the person was hit by a vehicle. The speed of the vehicle is unknown, but the pedestrian did not suffer any life-threatening injuries, Lopez said.
The pedestrian was taken to a nearby hospital. The driver of the vehicle was not cited in the collision.
