Highs in the 90s could end with Tuesday storms

"Just Add Water" is an interactive exhibit equipped with geysers, whirlpools, pumps, fountains, spigots and spouts. On Monday, June 18, 2012, kids placed bright orange balls throughout the water features and the creators of the exhibit hope it will enhance children's understanding of the concept of volume, weight, pressure, force, along with other physical science concepts.  Denver is looking at a high of 97 degrees today, keeping with a four-day temperature streak in the 90s that started on Wednesday.

While there is a slight chance that thunderstorms could bring down the area’s temperatures Sunday, the best chance for storms is Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

As those storms possibly roll in, so could cooler weather, with a high of 89 degrees on Tuesday and 87 degrees on Wednesday.
