The father of Brent Lowak, a Bulverde,Texas man wounded in the Aurora movie massacre, said in a statement Sunday that he and his family expect the 27 year-old to fully recover.
Lowak was visiting Jessica Ghawi and the two went to the showing of “The Dark Knight Rises,” early last Friday at the Century Aurora 16 theater. Ghawi, an aspiring sports journalist was killed in a rampage that police say was carried out by James Eagan Holmes, 24.
“Our hearts go out to all the victims of this senseless tragedy, including Brent’s dear friend Jessica Ghawi,” the emailed statement from Larry Lowak, said.
“Our family has been overwhelmed by the show of support for Brent and we wanted to let everyone know that we expect him to make a full recovery.”
