DENVER—Denver Police Chief Robert White says an off-duty police officer at Denver International Airport made a mistake when the officer told the police chief’s wife she couldn’t wait at the curb as the chief was leaving the terminal.
White says his wife had been circling the airport on Sunday and only stopped when it was time to pick him up.
According to the Denver Post ( ), White wants officers to be more considerate.
The officer was not identified and the police union says the issue is moot.
