Bob Dylan and his band will welcome another music veteran for the upcoming tour behind Dylan’s 35th studio album, “Tempest,” set to drop on Sept. 11. Mark Knopfler, best known as the founder of Dire Straits — and lately a collaborator and curator of folk and Americana — will join Dylan at the 1stBank Center Oct. 29-30. Tickets are not on sale until Sept. 14, a few days after the album comes out, but superfans will likely want to start strategizing now. (Prices to be announced, TicketHorse)

It’s been seven years since New Order played our continent, and the influential synth-pop band has announced only seven North American dates for its October return tour. Fortunately, Denver is one of them. The band, without original bassist Peter Hook, will stop by the 1stBank Center on Oct. 10. Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. Aug. 10. Check back here or in the coming weeks for ticket prices. (TicketHorse)

Grace Potter and the Nocturnals have steadily moved up the venue ladder to reach their recently announced show at the 3,600-capacity Fillmore Auditorium — about double the audience the band played for last year at the Ogden Theatre. Tickets for the Oct. 26 concert are on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. ($27.50-$30, livenation.com)

Harlem hip-hop dynamo A$AP Rocky made headlines last week, albeit in the same sadly predictable way that other brawling musicians have recently — by getting arrested after a late-night dust-up in New York City. Followers of his critically acclaimed music can concentrate on that when Rocky plays the Ogden Theatre on Oct. 15 as part of the “LongLiveA$AP” tour, featuring A$AP Mob, ScHoolboy Q and Danny Brown. Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. ($25, axs.com)

The Irish group the Script, hailing from Dublin, will also hit the Ogden this fall, thanks in part to the prominence of its new collaboration with the Black Eyed Peas’ will.i.am., “Hall of Fame.” We’ll try not to permanently hold that against the band. Tickets for the Oct. 23 show are on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. ($35, axs.com)

Comedian Aziz Ansari postponed his sold-out shows at the Paramount Theatre on July 21 due to the Aurora movie theater shootings, but simultaneously announced a rescheduled date of Aug. 11. Tickets for the previous shows will be honored, and ticket holders needing refunds can call TicketHorse customer service at 303-405-6066.
