What does a manicure have to do with a new cellphone? Nokia figures that its new pink phone is going to appeal to a certain demographic, i.e., young women who look at their phones as an all-important accessory. And when they’re texting or tapping on their phone, they spend a lot of time seeing their nails. So that explains, in part, why visitors to from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday can get free manicures at the pop-up Nokia Lumia Lounge. On hand (no pun intended) will be celebrity manicurist Kandi Banks, right, who counts , among others, as clients. (Is it any coincidence that Minaj performs in Denver that night?) Banks’ team will be doing nail designs with leopard spots and stripes, in a special color that was created to match the phone. Patrons need to make an appointment by going to the AT&T store and then will get a text when it’s time for their appointment in the lounge, which will be on the lower level outside Dillard’s. Park Meadows Mall, 8401 Park Meadows Center Drive, Lone Tree.
