The bands, whose oldest member is 16, included the Ventura County-based Kismet, whose members had passed the hat at two previous gigs and collected an additional $307 for the cause.

The Aurora Victim Relief Fund, created by Gov. John Hickenlooper in partnership with the Arvada-based , has grown to $3.5 million. Online contributions can be made via .

In related news, the alt-rock duo , made up of brothers Corey and Bryan Tyler of Denver, has posted on YouTube. Filmed at the memorial site in Aurora, the brothers sing “Dreamer” while images of items left at the site, and visitors to it, are shown in the background.
