Torrey Puckett is accused of picking off a Denver Broncos fan’s camera, but was brought down by his alleged victim’s teenage son.
Puckett and the victim were at the Broncos scrimmage Saturday at Sports Authority Field at Mile High Saturday, when the man noticed his camera missing.
“A witness pointed out Puckett as a suspect, as he was running up the stairs,” the Denver District Attorney’s office said Wednesday. “The victim’s 17-year-old son, who was at the top of the stairs, intervened in subduing him.”
Puckett is charged with felony attempted robbery , felony theft and misdemeanor child abuse.
He is free on $5,000 bond.
Court records show Puckett, a Thornton resident, was charged with theft under $100 in Broomfield in 2005, but the charge was later dismissed.
