A family is trying to cope with the loss of a father of seven, who died after saving his children from a storm during a camping trip last Friday.
The Broggers had just arrived at Lake McConaughy in Nebraska from their home in Kiowa when they decided to go for a swim.
When a storm moved in, Jimmie Brogger got his kids out of the water. But he didn’t make it out. His body was found 48 hours after he went missing.
