Visual art: USA Pro Challenge inspires bike art at DIA
Through Aug. 31: An international-level bike race zooming over Colorado’s mountains is great. But a bike race with a little art on the side — that’s a lot more interesting. To celebrate the roll through the state Aug. 20-26, Denver International Airport is exhibiting 13 bicycles turned into creative works by local artists and cultural groups. The bikes, set on top of the baggage carousels in the Jeppeson Terminal, celebrate the race’s top teams. Among the creators: , Matt Scobey, PlatteForum and DAVA Youth.
