is not nearly as menacing a band as the name would lead you to believe. Mixing folk, alt-country, punk and orchestral sounds, MBD is one of those bands with an inexplicably rabid fanbase. It’s the kind of crowd that knows every lyric to every single song, anticipates every chord change — the type of following that would justify booking the band for two nights at the (Thursday and Friday). These will be two whiskey-soaked evenings: boot-stomping folkies Ha Ha Tonka will open both shows,and the 4OnTheFloor and Drag The River will each take one turn, respectively. .
