A Boy Scouts of America scoutmaster is accused of possessing child pornography and engaging in sexually-charged Internet video chats with a 12-year-old Colorado boy.
Andrew J. Myers, 34, of Whitinsville, Mass. allegedly used Skype to coax the boy into exposing and touching himself through a webcam.
A 40-page federal-criminal affidavit reviewed by 9Wants to Know describes how the boy’s mother in Larimer County, Colo. discovered chat logs on her son’s computer in July.
The Larimer County Sheriff’s Department assisted federal agents in the investigation that included subpoenaed chat logs from Skype and an email account allegedly used by Myers’ to download child pornography.
