WOODLAND PARK, Colo.—A memorial honoring three Boy Scouts killed in a crash in Wyoming has been removed from Woodland Park High School where they were students.
School officials tell KKTV-TV () the makeshift memorial made of wood covered with mementos violated school policy.
The scouts were returning from a Boy Scout camp near Yellowstone National Park on June 30 when they collided head-on with a motor home.
Sixteen-year-old Paul Kekich, 17-year-old Nick Naples, and 17-year-old Alex Ragan died in the crash near Thermopolis.
