The victim of a hit-and-run Wednesday morning in Lakewood has died, police said.
Kenneth W. Kienzle, 58, of Lakewood, was declared brain dead Thursday and died Friday, Randy McNitt, a spokesman for Lakewood police, said.
Boulevard and West Ohio Avenue around 4:45 a.m. when Catherine Marie Bean, 22, allegedly hit him, police said.
Bean was arrested on suspicion of vehicular assault, driving under the influence, careless driving and failure to remain at the scene of an accident, according to police.
Lakewood police will amend those charges, adding vehicular homicide to the counts, McNitt said.
