The Denver coroner’s office says a man was the victim of a homicide.
Israel Hernandez, 30, was shot at 3624 Josephine St. around 2:20 a.m. Thursday, according to a news release by Michelle Weiss-Samaras, spokeswoman for the Denver coroner’s office.
He was pronounced dead 21 minutes later. The cause of death was determined to be a gunshot wound, authorities said.
The case is still under investigation, said John White, Denver police spokesman.
