A bank robbery suspect is in custody after a 30-minute police chase Monday morning.
At 9:48 a.m., police received a call about a robbery at 1st Bank on 7590 Colfax Ave.
The suspect was eventually detained at West Archer Avenue and South Russell Court after police “pitted” the car to make it stop.
According to Lakewood Police, the suspect is named William Jennings. He is 48 years old, and police believe he may be involved in at least two other bank robberies near the metro area.
