DENVER—A Denver man accused of lying on an application to get access to secure areas at Denver International Airport is facing serious charges.
Twenty-year-old Terrance Lee King is due in federal court Wednesday for arraignment on a charge of making a false statement.
Prosecutors say King has convictions for unlawful possession, use, sale, distribution, or manufacture of an explosive or weapon and a felony involving illegal possession of a controlled substance.
He answered “no” when asked on the application whether he not been convicted of any of the listed offenses.
Prosecutors say there is no indication he had any terrorist motives.
