Eye on …The Bison

North Dakota State (1-0) at Colorado State (1-0), 5 p.m., Saturday, KTVD-20

For the record: The defending FCS national champion — and No. 1-ranked — Bison raised a banner then blew out Robert Morris 52-0 in the season opener last Saturday.

Streaking: Colorado State has never played North Dakota State in football.

Who’s hot: Quarterback Brock Jensen passed for the 217 yards and three touchdowns in North Dakota State’s easy win over Robert Morris. He completed 16-of-23 passes.

Who’s not: No one, in a 52-point victory.

Key stat: North Dakota State ranked No. 1 nationally in scoring defense last season, allowing just 12 points per game. The Bison’s defense is off to a good start, allowing only 88 yards against Robert Morris.

FYI: Jensen’s chemistry with a new group of wide receivers was a question mark coming into the season, but all did their part to ease any concerns. Sophomore Zach Vraa led the Bison with four catches for 76 yards.
