A woman walking near Washington Park on Tuesday could be the latest target of a serial groper.
Around 12:20 p.m. the woman was walking on East Kentucky Avenue, between Gilpin and Franklin streets, when she passed a man standing in the alley. Police say the man approached her and grabbed her.
The suspect — described as heavy-set, bald, in his early 30s and wearing a white T-shirt — sped off in possibly a black or dark-colored Nissan Altima or four-door Maxima.
on Aug. 21, when a woman was fondled while walking near East Fifth Avenue and High Street. Minutes later, a woman a block away reported a similar suspect grabbing her before fleeing in a dark car. Both women told police that the man was parked in an alley when they walked by.
Around 7 p.m. on Aug. 28, a woman reported a man grabbed her buttocks and then fled near Osceola Street and West 37th Avenue.
