Saturday. For more than three decades, Chanticleer, above, has been setting the standard for male choruses. The Grammy-winning “orchestra of voices” performs a rich repertoire that stretches back four centuries, from Henry Purcell to John Tavener. The ensemble brings its rich sound to a welcoming venue Saturday, Augustana Lutheran Church, where the program will be, as usual, varied and include compositions from Chinese composer Chen Yi and Irish composer Michael McGlynn, as well as more familiar names from choral canon. The church is at 5000 E. Alameda Ave. Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. show are $10-$35. 303-388-4962 or
