COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Paul Ryan is back in Colorado for his second campaign visit as the Republican vice-presidential nominee.
Ryan plans to attend a rally Thursday at an aircraft restoration business in Colorado Springs. Ryan was last in Colorado on Aug. 14, when he headlined a rally in Jefferson County.
His visit comes on the same day Democratic President Barack Obama accepts his party’s nomination at their convention in Charlotte, N.C.
Mitt Romney is taking a few days off from campaigning, preparing for three debates with Obama that could prove pivotal in the election. The first debate will be Oct. 3 at the University of Denver.
