A 12-year-old girl was hit by a vehicle Tuesday morning in Broomfield.
The incident happened about 7:20 a.m. at the intersection of East Midway Boulevard and North Perry Street, according to a Broomfield Police Department media release.
The girl, who was riding a bicycle through a crosswalk, was hit by a vehicle heading eastbound on Midway, police said. She was taken to a local hospital. Details on her injuries were not available.
The accident is under investigation, police said.
Mountain View Elementary School is a few blocks south of the intersection.
