 Gov. John Hickenlooper and the head of Arrow Electronics are scheduled to make an announcement Friday of hundreds of new jobs in Colorado.

A press release from Hickenlooper and the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade describes the announcement as “a major economic development win for Colorado.”

Arrow Electronics chief executive Mike Long and state economic development director Ken Lund are scheduled to attend the announcement, in addition to Hickenlooper.

Arrow, a supplier of electronic components, last year from Melville, N.Y.

A Fortune 200 firm, Arrow is Colorado’s largest company in terms of revenue.
