GREELEY — A Greeley-area gang member and his mother have pleaded guilty to charges stemming from the shooting of a family member in downtown Greeley.
Joseph Gonzales pleaded guilty on Thursday to attempted second-degree murder after he was accused of shooting his cousin, Trinidad Erebia , on Feb. 28 in the 700 block of 10th Street .
Erebia was shot once in the upper thigh.
Gonzales was arrested weeks after the shooting.
Mary Lou Jordan , Gonzales’ mother and Erebia’s aunt, was in a vehicle with Gonzales when he was arrested. She was later arrested and charged with being an accessory to a crime, a felony.
