Scarves, jackets and shawls are just some of the many items available at the three-day Annual Fiber Arts Sale presented by the Rocky Mountain Weavers Guild. Members have created one-of-a-kind socks, gloves, hats, bags, baskets and holiday décor. Weaving and spinning demonstrations are also included. Doggy dress-up

Aquatic Dog: A Fun and Friendly Place to Shop continues its Doggie Halloween Costume Sale through Sunday. All costumes are $7 — a savings of $30. Choose from cheerleaders, skeletons, pumpkins, sheep, policemen, fireman, clowns, penguins, frogs, princesses and football players. Sizes range from extra-small to large. Hit the books

Permanently check out more than 100,000 books, audiobooks, DVDs and videos as the Friends of the Jefferson County Public Library presents its annual Fall Whale of a Book Sale, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. Most prices range from 50 cents to $2.50. Admission is free. Saturday is Family Fun Day with crafts, face painting and fire engine visits.
